A bunch of us old-school brony musicians had a little reunion and we decided to do another remix war, as a tribute to the 10th anniversary of the first remix war!

Track info & other thoughts:

I decided to remix this track because it's one of the many tracks I remember well from my early days in the pony community. I remember loving the chorus so much that I'd sing it to myself sometimes. So I thought it would be a fun throwback to actually recored myself singing it as well ass remix it for this! I remixed it in a eurobeat-ish style as another throwback to one of the first genres I learned how to produce back in the day.

Now for some random personal thoughts - these past few weeks I've done a lot of reflecting and looking back to the old days, to being active in the MLP community and to making music. And I've missed them dearly. I've been digging up old piecess of music, screenshots, reaching out to and talking to old friends, it's been quite a wild ride. It really hit me just how much of an influence the show and the community had on me as I was growing up and how important all these memories are to me. I guess it was a realisation that hey, I'm not a kid anymore, I've all grown up now and those days aren't coming back. That being said, I was still also very delighted to see that a portion of the MLP community (both the music and more general community, that is) has still stuck around! Anyway, even though so much time has passed, I realised I still love ponies, and I really want to catch up with everything I missed. It's been so damn long hasn't it? The last time I uploaded a video here I was still in highschool, now I am very much an adult... it's all so weird.

Wit that being said, now that I'm back, where doess "StormWolf" go from here? Well to be honest, a few years ago I was thinking of making a comeback and discarding the StormWolf alias, making music under a new name and moving on from pony music. Now that I've properly thought about it, I don't want to do that. I still don't know 100% where I'm going from here, all I know is that I want to start making music properly again, both pony and non-pony. My passion has been reignited after all these years and I want to keep the flame alive. At the moment, I'm thinking of keeping "StormWolf" as an alias exclusively for my pony music, but I'm still not 100% sure yet! I guess the most I can say is, if you're still here, stay tuned and find out! And than you so much for sticking around.
