Environmental issue, Tie a knot in it, stop that bag from flying and polluting our oceans.

Tie a knot in it

The wind whips up from way down west,
Trees bend backwards, trunks now stressed
Bags now ascending, flying high as high
gravity has lost its grip, they're blown into the sky

many thousands dance and sore, blocking out the sun
while others skip across the land as though they're having fun
blown away to distant land, perhaps far out to sea
where will all the plastic land, from its reckless spree

But how do we stop those flying packs
They're choking up our oceans

Tie a knot in it,
I hear someone shout

Fresh from the store in a clear plastic bag
Hygienic and clean and sealed with a tag
No washing or rinsing it's ready to eat
A tasty wee morsel, a scrummy little treat

But how do we stop those flying packs
