Prewiring EXPLAINED for Wiring Newbies | Ram Promaster Cargo Van Conversion

Disclaimer: I am NOT an electrician and this is not expert electric advice :)

For the prewiring, you will need to wire based on your van layout.

MISTAKES TO AVOID WHEN PREWIRING:
For your AC wiring, know what your inverter can handle. Mine is the 1000W Renogy inverter and can only hook up via 2 normal 120V plugs. If you use an extension cord, keep one side of plugs while cutting off the other side to wire to the outlets.
Know your DC loads. Mine were: Fridge, puck lights, vent fan, heater, toilet. 12 awg for all but the puck lights.
Puck lights used 14 awg to connect back to dimmer switches
Put conduit on before moving the wires through the hard-to-reach places

Since puck light connections can be tricky, I will have a separate puck light video explaining connections to each other and to the dimmer switches.
