Explore one of Nagoya’s oldest and most atmospheric traditional shopping streets - Endoji Shotengai (円頓寺商店街) in Nishiki Ward.

This 4K HDR walking tour follows the full length of the covered arcade, a historic district dating back to the early Edo period (around 1612). Today, the area blends retro storefronts, long-standing family businesses, quiet backstreets, and small shrines with a growing number of cafés, galleries, and specialty shops.

Endoji Shotengai has survived wartime damage, redevelopment, and changing retail trends, and remains one of Nagoya’s best places to feel a connection to the city’s past.
