This improvised duet was inspired by Eloise's love of gymnastics. She helped compose the piece, using her favorite moves, like round-offs and handstands, as inspiration for the musical motifs. For example, her “round-off” sounds like two quick notes followed by a harmonic 3rd, representing the rhythm of her hands hitting the ground and feet landing together. She even illustrated every musical element in her artwork, connecting movement, sound, and visual art into one expressive creation!
