In Matthew 6:19 Jesus makes an interesting statement. Jesus says “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth”. What did he mean by that? This was not teaching us to give all, or even most of our stuff away. This is about the source we seek for real spiritual happiness that lasts forever, as opposed to earthly ones that are temporary.
