All Aboard! - Riding The Cymru Coaster Porthcawl, South Wales

Riding Porthcawl’s open-top bus from Trecco Bay Caravan Park to Rest Bay, the Cymru Coaster.
It takes you along the seafront past Coney Beach, the funfair, past the harbour and the promenade.

We were taking a ride, making the most of the warm sunny weather.

Mel’s with me on the tour of Porthcawl, I really know how to treat her.

At the time of riding the bus was £5 for adults, £3.50 for kids but there is a group/family ticket for £15. It’s also a hop-on, hop-off service so you can use it all day.

The trip takes about 15 to 20 minutes from Trecco Bay up to Rest Bay, depending on the traffic along Porthcawl’s seafront.

As well as a way of seeing the town and getting to Rest Bay, it’s also a good way to have a nose into people’s garden.
