While I was in Louisiana in March of 2024, I decided to take a quick trip to New Orleans and drive across the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, which as of 2024 is still the world's longest bridge continuously over water.
I have always been a fan of big bridges. I think my love for roller coasters started when I started learning about bridges and trains. A roller coaster is kind of a mix of both of those. While I have been to New Orleans several times, I have never had the time to drive across the causeway. I fixed that on March 2nd, 2024 by recording this time-lapse POV. Sure, it was a foggy day, but I enjoyed every minute of crossing that bridge. I only did the northbound side.
