1941 Chevy Pickup Hotrod

This 1941 Chevrolet ½-ton pickup is finished in deep purple with matching running boards. It is powered by a 355 ci V-8 paired with a 350-Turbo automatic transmission and a 9" Ford rear end. The truck was customized before the seller acquired it. This Chevy pickup is now offered with a reserve, current registration, and a clean California title.

The wood bed finish is bright and unmarred. The right front fender and bed rails were repainted during the current ownership to fix some scratches. The polished Colorado Custom wheels wear Cosmo RC-17 tires in the front and Mickey Thompson 18” rubber in the rear. The bench seat is expertly upholstered for comfort. A three-spoke custom tilt steering wheel frames a 120-mph Autometer speedometer flanked by matching gauges for fuel, oil, water, and volts. The five-digit odometer shows 7,659k miles. The seller states that the mileage is true, but it may be the mileage added since the truck was rebuilt, and the prior owners rebuilt the motor.

The 355ci V-8 has an abundance of chrome with purple detail, an electric fuel pump, and a 12-volt electrical system. The battery is stored in a custom Coca-Cola ice chest with an external shut-off switch. The 12-gallon gas tank is custom-made of aluminum, and the entire body is steel. Bodywork includes suicide popper doors, shaved rain gutters, a rolled rear end, tear-drop headlights, Cadillac taillights, rear wheel tubs, and tucked-in side pipes under the running boards. The suspension includes a Corvette C4 front end with adjustable airbags and four-link ladder bars in the rear with coil-over shocks.
