Speak, Lord—Your Servant Is Listening (Learning to Recognize God’s Voice)

This week we continued the conversation about hearing God—not as a technique or a formula, but as a relationship. The goal isn’t to copy someone else’s spirituality or chase emotional “experiences.” It’s learning to recognize the voice of a speaking God and to filter everything through Jesus.

We walk through several key passages that show how God has always spoken “at many times and in many ways,” and how the Holy Spirit is poured out for all believers—young and old, sons and daughters. We also looked at Samuel learning to recognize God’s voice, Elijah hearing God in the still small voice, and why safe community matters when we’re discerning what we’re hearing.
