大阪の設計事務所、建築家、一級建築士事務所アトリエｍの守谷です。

アトリエｍ移転計画「上町のアトリエ付き住宅 〈リノベーション〉」ですが、ようやく外観があらわれました。

一番の特徴は､庇の付いた黒い金属の外壁です。

庇は約25cmですが､敷地境界のギリギリまで伸ばしています｡

3階LDKは､15畳程の空間ですが、2階のアトリエと同じく南面はほぼ全開口としました｡

大きな開口部はこの季節の日射を取りこむには最適ですが、夏の日差し対策も必要になってきます。

高い太陽高度の光を遮るよう､細かいピッチで8枚の庇をデザインしました。

今回は、最も短く、最も枚数の多いケースです。都市型住宅だからこその工夫なのです｡

1階は､シャッターすぐ後ろにあるガレージと、開き戸と折戸で区切られたワークスペースに分かれます。

通常、私の車はワークスペースに駐車し、前のガレージが来客用です。

ただ、メンテナンス等で、ボートを大阪に持ってかえって来た時は、ワークスペースに駐艇します。

事を頑張る為に思い切って上町に移転してきましたが、遊びの部分もしっかり織り込んでいます。

大げさに言えば､究極の職住一体都市型住宅を目指しました。

1996年、大阪にアトリエｍを設立してから四半世紀。住宅、クリニック、店舗、オフィス、保育園と、直接依頼頂いたクライアントに約100件の作品を持たせて頂きました。
形態も新築、リノベーション、コンバージョンと様々。 物づくりの現場より面白い所を私は知りません。
住まい手の夢をかなえるのが、建築家の役目だと思っています。

I'm Moritani from Atelier m, an architect and first-class office in Osaka, Japan.

The exterior of Atelier m's relocation project, “Renovation of a house with an atelier in Kamimachi,” has finally been revealed.

The most distinctive feature is the black metal exterior wall with eaves.

The eaves are about 25cm long and extend to the very edge of the property line.

The LDK on the third floor is about 15 tatami in size, but like the atelier on the second floor, it is almost fully open on the south side.

Large openings are ideal for bringing in sunlight during this season, but they are also necessary to prevent summer sun exposure.

To block the light from the high solar elevation, we designed eight eaves with a fine pitch.

This case is the shortest and has the most number of eaves. This is because it is an urban residence.

The first floor is divided into a garage just behind the shutters and a workspace separated by a folding door and a swinging door.

Normally, my car is parked in the workspace and the garage in front is for visitors.

However, when I bring my boat back to Osaka for maintenance, etc., I park it in the workspace.

I moved to Kamimachi in order to do my best in my business, but I have also incorporated a playful side to my work.

To put it bluntly, we aimed to create the ultimate urban residence that integrates work and residence.

It has been a quarter of a century since I established Atelier m in 1996. I have worked on about 100 projects for direct clients, mainly custom-built houses, clinics, stores, offices, and nurseries.I don't know of any place more interesting than the field of manufacturing.
