Fruit & Vegetable Printing | Easy Painting Activity for Kids

Materials:
•Paper
•Fruits and vegetables (apples, celery, carrots, broccoli, potatoes, etc.)
•Tempera paint
•Small plates
•Paper towel

Instructions:
1. Protect your work surface with an art mat or table cloth
2. Adults- cut fruits or vegetables in half
3. Prepare a homemade "stamp pad" by folding a paper towel and setting it on a plate. Pour paint on a paper towel and distribute it as well as possible.
4. To print, press the cut end of the fruit or vegetable to your homemade stamp pad and then press it onto your paper.

Experiment with different foods to create fun designs, patterns, and pictures!
