The world was waiting for a moment in history that would change everything. And it came in the most unlikely of circumstances—in a manger, wrapped in cloth—a baby boy. The first Christmas marked the end of what was, and the beginning of a promise. A promise that God was near, He hadn’t abandoned the world, and He was running towards us.
We all spend parts of life in the in-between–hoping, longing, wondering if anything is changing. From discovering God’s presence, to learning how to move forward while we wait, to seeing how hope is formed in the tension, each week leads us toward the moment Christmas promises: the arrival of the One we’ve been waiting for.
