Saturday the 5th April, running the Forest Rec parkrun
272nd parkrun and 1st at Forest Rec.

Took it steady to start with and was surprised to drop into 4th place quite quickly.
While it was warm when sheltered in the sun but there was quite a strong cold wind blowing along the long start/finish straight.
The hills were significant enough to wear the legs down to allow me to be passed and I couldn't hold on to the pace

5th placed finisher out of 222 and 1st in the 45-49 age group
