Over 40 Christmases have passed since Baron Zarkoon was our Santa Claus at Ferrahian. Mrs. Merigian teaching english to the class of 1975 and Mr Boyadjian teaching math to 9th graders as new condos were being built across the street on White Oak Ave.
The 1974 Class olympics where held where one class was pitted against another class in a tug of war trying to pull the losing class over the sprinklers. The new Ferrahian High school was being built on the empty lot that was bought 5 years before. Three legged races, apple bobbing, pie eating contests and Halloween contests were yearly events.
If you were from that time you would remember going to the old kitchen window during Nutrition and Lunch times to buy bear claws or a cup of hot chocolate.
This film is dedicated to Mrs. Merigian , Mr Boyadjian and Mr. Zarkoon that are no longer with us. We salute and respect the sacrifices they made throughout the many years with their dedication to all the Ferrahian students. We will miss them ....
