This mysterious man almost broke Goldeneye speedrunning

In July 2018, a mysterious individual appeared on the-elite forum, claiming knowledge of a new strategy in speedrunning which could result in 30 or more seconds cut from the game in a short period of time. New untied world records were practically guaranteed to be set with this new strategy, and the world record progression would never be the same... After much speculation, intrigue and many accusations, a new discovery was revealed that almost broke Goldeneye speedrunning.
