Jake & his Dad do their first hive inspection, almost two weeks after transferring their nuc into a hive. The colony seems to be healthy and expanding, and they felt the time was right to take off the rapid feeder and put a honey super on top. The addition of the super frames will give the bees plenty of space, reduce any desire for the colony to swarm, and they will begin storing honey in their own time.
