The second video lecture on Bazin's landmark essay "The Ontology of the Photographic Image" with a reading of the film Waltz with Bashir (Ari Folman, 2008) and the idea of "animated documentary."
*NB: At 6:28, I say that the film was made from a series of interviews that were not scripted. This is an error. These interviews were in fact scripted and recorded on a sound stage.
