Mercuriall ReAxis - Lundgren BJFE - Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional (Demo)

Checking out a couple of different items this time... First thing is this ReAxis plugin, by Mercuriall. These guys are making some insanely high quality amp sims, and this particular one is a model of the old Mesa Tri-Axis preamp, which has 8 different preamp circuits on board, ranging through the Mesa Mark 1, 2, 3, & 4 amps, as well as a "Classic British" channel. The ReAxis plugin has modeled all of them, and also has pre and post effects available, making this plugin into a complete recording rig. I have to say that honestly, the Mercuriall stuff is the most realistic sounding, and feeling, plugins I've ever used, without a doubt.
The next thing, is that I installed a set of Lundgren BJFE pickups into my NJ strat, and WOW is all I can say... Completely astonishing pickups! As is usual for Lundgren pickups, the clarity and articulation is unmatched, but for single coils, these things punch hard! They get chunky and handle distortion really well without falling apart, and of course, if you want vintage and clean tones, they are all there as well. Just amazing! I've been playing this guitar so much lately, I just can't get enough of these incredible single coil tones, so I wanted to use this guitar to creat something with the ReAxis plugin.
There are tons of demos of this plugin doing Petrucci tones, Metallica tones, and all kinds of brutal metal sounds, but I decided to challenge myself to write some 80's style hard rock / hair metal, and this is the result!
