Al DiMeola introduces this song as very hard to play, and tells about writing it as a three part harmony for his trio days with Paco De Luca and John McLaughlin, called Azzura Part 1 and Azzura Part 2, although the names of the songs on the album are Azzura and Big Sky Azzura performed at the Plaza Live Theatre in Orlando, Florida on January 16, 2026. Azzura and Big Sky Azzura were written by Al Di Meola and were the eighth and ninth tracks on The Infinite Desire, Al Di Meola's studio album released in August 1998.
