✈️ Solo Flight into Remote Alaska | Flying Safely in Unfamiliar Terrain
I flew solo up the Chickaloon River — one of the most beautiful places in Alaska I’ve ever seen — and took extra precautions because of unfamiliar terrain and tricky winds. In this video I share the flight, scouting decisions, and the things I watched for while navigating remote river country. I also sit down with Brett Baker / @clearedtoadventure to discuss how our flying changes when we enter new areas of Alaska, covering route planning, risk management, reading the land, and adapting to local weather and wind patterns.
