Vegetable Manchurian Gravy is a delicious chinese vegetarian cuisine, where the deep fried veg balls are cooked in spicy gravy of cornflour along with different spices.
Ingredients Required :
For the manchurian balls :
Patta Gobi/ Cabbage (finely chopped) - 2 cups
Gajar/ Carrot (grated) - 1 cup
Simla mirch/ Capsicum (finely chopped) - 1 cup
Pyaaz/ Onion (finely chopped) - 1 no. (small)
Adrak/ Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 inch
Lasun/ Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
Hari mirch/ Green chillies (finely chopped) - 2 nos.
Dhaniya/ Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup
Kalamiri/ Blackpepper powder - 1 tsp
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Maida/ All purpose flour - 2 tbsp
Namak/ Salt to taste
For the slurry :
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Paani/ Water - 1/4 cup
For the gravy :
Tel/ Oil - 2 tbsp
Lasun/ Garlic (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
Adrak/ Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 inch
Hari mirch/ Green chillies (finely chopped) - 2 now.
Pyaaz/ Onion petals - 6 nos.
Simla mirch/ Capsicum petals - 6 nos.
Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
Red chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
Schezwan chutney - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Kalamiri/ Blackpepper powder - 1 tsp
Paani/ Water - 2 & 1/2 cups (600 ml)
Namak/ Salt - 1/4 tsp
Spring Onions (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup
