We visit Perella's Italian Resturant in Warren, RI. Perella's is a family-owned Italian restaurant that was featured on TLC's program, Restaurant Impossible in 2019. Restaurant Impossible is an American reality television series, featuring chef and restaurateur Robert Irvine. The premise of the series is that within two days and on a materials budget of $10,000, Irvine renovates a failing American restaurant with the goal of helping to restore it to profitability and prominence.
Irvine returned to Perella's during the pandemic to check on how the restaurant was doing, and to offer advice that might help keep the business profitable during these challenging times. This was our first and post-Restaurant Impossible visit... Happy to report that the food and service were great, and that it appears this local favorite has survived and overcome their challenges.
