How To Use Social Media

On October 28, 2025, the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides (APT) organized a ‘How To Use Social Media’ webinar. APT social media coordinators Antoinette Langeveld and Jenn Hensell led a workshop covering a basic overview of the social media sites APT is involved with, including live demonstrations and time for Q&A.

Even if you aren’t interested in harnessing the power of social media to market your tours, you’ll learn how you can interact with the sites more effectively and support your favorite tour guide association! And if you are particularly savvy with social media (or even if you’re not – we’ll teach you), we are looking for APT members to contribute content on a regular or even occasional basis.
