6 month UPDATE on Asheville:    • Living in Asheville 6 months after hurrica...  

Hurricane Helene swept across much of the south east and caused catastrophic damage to most of Appalachia.
I had no idea what I was getting ready to document when I started this video over a week ago, and when I finished filming I still didn’t know the full extent of the damage. We didn’t have cell service and internet for several days and were cut off from everyone else.
When connection and cell service start coming back, we learned what a tragedy hit our region.

Many neighborhoods and even whole towns are swept away, roads are completely destroyed and many areas are unreachable still(!!) people lost lives, homes, businesses, farms- everything.

My heart is heavy💔.

Almost 2 months later there are still a ton of people living jn tents, homeless, without any means to rebuild and get up on their feet. I know ‪@MrBeast‬ was raised in NC and here’s hope him and his team sees this and decides to help by brining awareness or maybe do a fundraiser(?)
