This is my grandfather’s old work truck that he also used as a daily driver. Unfortunately, the shop that it was left in has seen better days, and for decades, it sat under a leaking roof. This is part of a series of videos that I am doing to document the transformation from a mild-mannered old abandoned rusty work truck into a 500 ci big block beast that I can use to haul my family and a race car across the country. In this video, I continue the restoration of the 1989 GMC 3+3 crew cab long bed square body. Unfortunately, there is a lot of rust to overcome with this northeastern Square Body, although I am happy the core components are only suffering from surface rust. Though, this is definitely a project that make me question how financially responsible I am.
