The Water's Edge, an orchestrated anomaly in a small sea of space. There are warning signs of bear sightings along the path, sounds of rushing waves, seagulls, and a harbor city. Welcome to Pier Town, a small recreation of an Alaskan village themed with a dock, market, and bait shop. This is a coastal fishing village, that illustrates the ways that humans interact with marine wildlife. Down a single line, placed within this scenery are four marine mammals built to withstand the coldest waters. Eye to eye, foot to foot, above and below, side to side - no matter which way you enter the Water's Edge promises a memorable beginning and end. Watch Polar Bears, sea otters, sea lions, and learn the stories of the Pittsburgh Zoo's rare elephant seals on this special episode.
