Dr. Suzanne Simard BSF’83 is a professor of Forest Ecology in the UBC Faculty of Forestry and the leader of The Mother Tree Project. She holds a PhD and MSc in Forest Ecology from Oregon State University and a BSF in Forest Resource Management from UBC. This event took place on March 9th , 2023 at Jack Poole Hall, Robert. H. Lee Alumni Centre, at University of Brutish Columbia
About the event series:
Peter Wharton was the much admired curator of the UBC Botanical Garden's Asian Garden. The Peter Wharton Lecture was established to honour Peter's memory and legacy. UBC Botanical Garden is part of the Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
