British luxury bags - traditional to quirky (including Royal favourites) - are they worth buying?

Asprey (with a Royal Warrant from HRH the Prince of Wales), Launer, Mulberry, Aspinal of London and Anya Hindmarsh are all brands favoured by various members of the Royal Family from the Queen herself (Launer) to Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, wife of Prince William (Mulberry, Aspinal and Anya Hindmarsh).
They are high quality and in the main more reasonably priced than the big luxury French and Italian fashion houses. They carry their branding quietly and many bear the hallmarks of elegant good taste.
I have the Mulberry Darley small shoulder bag in quilted leather - a look alike to the attractive Chanel Business Affinity (but a fraction of the price and much better made!); the Aspinal of London Mayfair bag, size mini; one of the famous Anya Hindmarch clutches; and a quirky Lulu Guinness Oyster bag bought as a gift for someone.
