The Doom Comic - Comic Dub V2

Hey folks. Since Dark Ages seems to be giving this (and V1) some extra attention, I figured I should clear up a misconception or two about my Doom comic dubs. I get a lot of comments pointing out that these are the voice lines in Project Brutality, or even the original Brutal Doom. In reality, to my knowledge, my voice isn't used in either of those.

Instead, Doomguy's voice in those mods was provided by the awesome Zero X. Diamond. He is THE iconic Doomguy voice you are likely more familiar with, and the inspiration for my own voice in these dubs.

I made my dubs because I thought it'd be cool to have a proper, fully edited dub of this comic with a similar style of voice. Of course, Brutal Doom's lines are also sourced from this same comic, so Zero recorded many of the exact same things, and with deliveries that eventually inspired my interpretation. All in all, I've felt a little bad for not directly acknowledging Zero's incredible voice work for the mod, so here's my way of rectifying that.

If you want to try out a Doom mod that DOES feature my voice, take a look at Brutal Doom Platinum. It's a pretty cool mod that a friend of mine is developing, and I've voiced a ton of original dialog for it that wasn't covered in either the comic, or by Brutal Doom/Project Brutality.

I dubbed this comic way back in 2017 as a special for reaching 666 subscribers. Now that Doom Eternal is on the horizon, I figured this old thing needed a polish pass.
