In this video, we remove a deteriorated printed carbon fibre wrap from a BMW i8 carbon roof and replace it with carbon Paint Protection Film (PPF) using a professional installation process.

The BMW i8 already features a genuine carbon roof, so the goal here isn’t to imitate carbon — it’s to protect it properly. We walk through the full process, including prep, templating around the bonded shark fin aerial, accurately measuring and cutting expensive material, and installing carbon PPF for durability and longevity.
