My interview with iconic band, STONE FOX in 1993 while on tour with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

Stone Fox was the FIRST band Linda Perry signed to her label, Rockstar Records! I wouldn't be surprised if they were the reason she started the label itself. I fell in love with this band after seeing them open for Joan Jett & the Blackhearts for the first time - it was 1993 and Joan was touring to support the album Pure & Simple, but having Stone Fox as an opening act may have been a risky decision. There's no way to take the charisma these musicians have individually and when they get together as a band, there's no denying that THAT is rock-n-roll. They fucking rocked every show as they breezed through the southern leg of that tour with Jett. I consider myself so lucky to have been at those shows. Stone Fox is a shock to the system... the best kind of shock, y'know? I immediately loved them so much, I asked the band if they'd do an interview with me for a lil variety, entertainment show I was working on with my friend and Producer, Khikhi Stills called Way Out! TV They said they'd love to do it and the rest is on tape... Actually, besides the interview, we shot some cool live footage of them at the Cotton Club in Atlanta and even though I haven't seen them since 1995, I love them all to bits. We still chat online and I still listen to their music often... They're definitely one-of-a-kind and I miss them terribly. Jorjee, Brent, Yvette, Janis and Kim... Stone Fuckin' Fox baby
