Surviving the CIA Exam Day

See what to expect on your CIA exam day, and how to prepare in advance to increase your chance of success.

You have done your CIA exam prep and will be taking the test in a few weeks. Is there anything you need to do other than studying? We go through what you can expect at the test center on your exam day.

First of all, make sure you know what to bring to the center. The official approval form is a must, so is the identification. It is time to check whether the ID is valid. This means it has to be current (not expired), has a photo and that you have the original document ready on the day. Please note that employee and student ID cannot be used. It needs to be a government-issued document such as passport, driver’s license, military ID and permanent resident visa.

Please try your best to find your way to the test center before the actual exam date. This is to make sure you know how to get there, and understand the traffic condition. It is also helpful to watch a video on the Pearson VUE test center and see how the registration works.
