Chicago Blues Festival 1985 at Delta Fish Market

Amazing footage of the 1985 Chicago Blues Festival held at the long gone Delta Fish Market. Once a staple of the Chicago blues scene, The Market imported fish straight from Mississippi direct to Chicago while also doubling as a Blues venue. All the greats of the time made their way onto the Fish Market's stage such as Sunny Land Slim, Eddie Taylor, Taildragger, Johnny Littlejohn, Hubert Sumlin, Floyd Jones, Big Smokey Smothers, Sam Lay and many others. All of those names listed, can be seen in this footage playing and singing the blues live!

Tom Morris, better known as "Illinois Slim" had this to say about the footage:

"that was a special day, but it was just one of the great days I spent at the fish market."

He can be seen backing Johnny Littlejohn along with Sunnyland Slim.
