Dmitry Bivol - Is a Russian professional boxer who has held the World Boxing Association (WBA) (Super version) Light Heavyweight title since 2017 and the International Boxing Organization (IBO) title since 2023. As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2013 World Combat Games in the 81 kg weight category. He was listed by multiple sources as the fighter of the year for 2022, including being selected as The Ring magazine Fighter of The Year. Bivol's biggest and best performance was against Canelo Alvarez in 2022. He won the fight by unanimous decision (115–113 on all three judges' scorecards) after 12 rounds. According to CompuBox punch statistics, Bivol had outlanded Álvarez in every single round of the fight, for a total of 152 punches landed. Bivol's current professional record stands at 23-0 (12 KO's) and he's widely considered to be one of the best fighters in the world pound for pound.
