This episode looks at Owl and Weasel #13 from February of 1976, produced by Ian Livingstone, Steve Jackson, with contributions from Allen Ovens and Alan White.
This early fanzine is focused on games generally and now includes Games Workshop's growing support of D&D. It features information about the National Scrabble Tournament and a report from the Brighton Toy Fair, reader letters, details for the D&D Society (to connect gamers and share ideas), information on a number of games (Cartel, Afrika Korps, Top Rat), announcing a PBM Railway Rivals game run by the creator, and an index of articles in the first 12 issues.
The fanzines in my collection are all focused on RPGs (especially fantasy role playing games) and with an emphasis on content for Dungeons & Dragons (depending on the year, that could be OD&D, Basic/Expert D&D and/or AD&D).
** Other Early Fanzines Identified in this issue: The Strategic Review.
