Located between Gonzales and Luling TX, Palmetto State Park is a tropical oasis in Central Texas. This CCC-built park is small in size, but big on forest shade, wildlife viewing and CCC history. In this video, we take you on a tour of Palmetto State Park. We show you the RV camping loop, tent camping loop, the San Marcos River, and some of the historic CCC structures. We also take you along as we hike some of the trails in search of wildlife and geocaches.
