Cars: Mater-National: Wii Developer Prototype - Beta Gudmund (Sven)

25 of December, 2022. Hidden Palace released a Wii Mater-National prototype. It recembles the build shown right here:    • C:Hi - Gameplay (Cutscene)   , with the exception of the fact the video's build is seemingly from PC/Xbox360, and this one comes from Wii.

The main difference shown here is the old Gudmund's model, who was also named Sven/Edvard/Klaus in the early stages of the game. His voice remains the same (Boost/Excited quotes are disabled due to the build's settings), but his model is completely different and unfinished. Mater-National related books were released in 2009, two years after the game was released, so it seems like the appearance of Gudmund (not only his though) was in development. (put something about his prototype here, I need to ask some people regarding the fact what car model does he resemble)

So basically, other differences are:

1) The game has motion blur at high speeds, which really adds to the sense of speed
2) Emma model is final, but her icon is not
3) Icons of other characters are styled differently
4) Otto has his... beta look. Unfinished animaitons, different engine sound.
5) DEBUG MODE WORKS. I was right after all, it is present in the game's files and it's not just a TVG leftover.
6) Some objects look different: stands, sky model
7) Beta boost_empty sound
8) Some collisions are absent

So far it seems like that Mater-National racers were meant to look more generic. Emma, Yuri and Gudmund share almost identical beta models, Otto, judging by his beta icon, looks like a generic race car, and Giovanni has some differences too. The only one who resembles his final look here is Hiro (Koji). It's a good thing they look more personified!
