AEG 8000 Series Powercare - Unboxing, installation & setup

This is an AEG 8000 Series Powercare washing machine that my partner and I bought to test out a couple of months ago - in this video you can see the unboxing and installation.

We both have always liked AEG and Zanussi/Electrolux as brands so thought we would try out a newer model. We bought it aware that the quality etc may not be as good as it was, but we are impressed so far with how it works.

It really is a great performing machine, the ÖKOMix system is great and the cycle times are really decent, even on full length. The flexibility of cycles is great, and there is also a good selection on the app. Rinsing and spinning is particularly good despite only being a 1400 machine. The only downside is that it is a bit noisier than the Siemens and Miele when spinning.

We had this installed in the utility for a while before the new Siemens, and it’s now moved to its permanent home besides the Miele in the outhouse.
