تدور أحداث الفيلم حول أسرة تواجه مأساة بعد وفاة الأم، حيث تُصبح الأخت (سوسن) مسؤولة عن المنزل، وتبدأ الصراعات الأسرية والعاطفية بين الأبناء — بينما يعيش الأخ «شكري» حياة متهورة ومليئة بالقرارات الخاطئة، ويحاول الأب أن يصلح ما تهدّم.
