Weird Projects, Chunky Yarn and Possible Regret | Game of Wool

I’m trying to figure out Game of Wool: Britain’s Best Knitter, and I’m not sure if it’s shooting for harmless entertainment vibes, or if it’s actively trying to troll the current generation of fibre artists.

Or maybe a little bit of both.

Because for a show looking for Britain’s Best Knitter, there’s an awful lot of crochet.

Today we’re going to talk about that. About the show itself - the format and personalities involved; the projects, and the criticisms I’ve been seeing online. Because we’re just over halfway through, I think, and the opinions are many.
