The core curriculum of the Electronic Engineering Program includes two college-level dual enrollment courses, MET 120 - Industrial Mechanical Systems and MET 130 - Industrial Electrical systems. Some of the topics that students will learn about include power supplies, switches, resistors, capacitors, inductors, rheostats, and more. Through both in-class theory and hands-on experiences, students will install, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic components. The level 2 and 3 instruction will go more in-depth in electronics where students complete the necessary work to earn the Certified Electronics Technician Associate certification. Career possibilities include becoming an Electronic Engineering Technician, Electrical and Electronic Equipment Assembler, or an Electronics Engineering Technologist.
