If the service engine light is on with GM wheel speed sensor codes C0034, C0035, C0044, C0045 or any other general speed sensor code, the problem most likely is not the sensor and it's a bad encoder ring on the wheel hub. This is a very common problem on many GM vehicles in these years.
In this video we show how to change the front wheel bearing HUB on a 2010-2016 Buick Lacrosse. In addition, we show a couple different options (including slide hammer and hub puller) to remove a wheel hub that is seized to the knuckle and provide every single torque spec. This process is the nearly identical (just different part numbers) for various other GM vehicles including: Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse, Impala, Equinox, and Malibu, Cadillac XTS, SRX, XT5 and XT6, and GMC Acadia and Terrain.
