Reylo | My Salvation | Rey & Kylo/Ben

Okay. Now that I've had some time to brood this last movie over:

I feel like after Rey heals Kylo on the Death Star, they could have come together for a plan to take Palp down. Instead we see Rey run away again even though she realizes that something shifted in Ben because she felt Leia die to give Ben his humanity back.
As much as I loved my sad boy running in to save Rey (that one and only word in that whole sequence being "ow" was priceless along with his new Solo fighting style and that little shrug after getting his blue lightsaber from Rey) and then that truly epic light saber force bond grab... it could have been so much better still.

Star Wars is supposed to be about hope and I went into the movie certain Rey was gonna kill Kylo because he wouldn't be turned.

AND THEN. They give us freaking Ben saving Rey; those damn Adam Driver emotions still have me ugly sobbing.
My favorite quote from the whole movie might be Kylo telling Rey "We're a dyad in the Force, Rey. Two that are one." Literally soul mates. Equals. Every time they light saber play between each other, Kylo only pushes her, doesn't harm her even though she gets a few nicks into him. He wants her to realize how powerful she is. He wants her to be strong and is in awe when sparks come out of her in the desert.

I was reading on Tumblr some of the movie reactions and someone mentioned that Ben Solo has been tortured by Palpatine, the equivalent of a space Devil, since young. We all remember that Darth Vader was once Anakin, that kind boy, but the evil is so strong that it needs a miracle, a sacrifice in return to fight it. Hence Leia giving her life to bring Ben back. So people saying he HAD to die because of all the bad shit he did pisses me off. He deserved to keep redeeming himself along side Rey, his equal, his soul mate.

Instead. INSTEAD. They decided they would kill him. Freaking brilliant JJ killjoy Abrams. Thanks. I walked out so pissed out of the theater. 3 god damn movies for that ending. There were way more people who would have loved an ending of Ben and Rey going to bury the lightsabers together. But no. We get Rey all alone on the same planet we saw her being lonely on in the first movie.

They made Reylo canon and then took it away 5 seconds later. My mouth literally dropped when Ben's body fell. They give us the most tender kiss, the most amazing acting from Adam Driver with his heart shattering expressions, the most excited I've been to see two souls united on the movie screen... and THEN. 3 movies of bringing Ben back to the light and then they give us this. What for? For some angst? I had enough angst for 3 movies because I love it, give us a damn happy ending for once.

Thought now that Disney owned Star Wars they would. Disney killed my believe in happy endings.

There's definitely still some hope that Ben is able to come back since they left him out when Luke and Leia came back as Force ghosts and Ben was not among them. He's stuck in between worlds and Rey gonna go save her soul mate in whatever spin off they are gonna do.

You can't kill a beloved character like Kylo Ren/Ben solo without people rioting. He's my favorite in all of Star Wars (well besides baby Yoda child) and the can't just have him stay dead. Final.

Also, can I just mention how dirty they did Fin and Rose? Where the hell did that sweetness go?

P.S. Whoever thinks they are related obviously has missed a few of those eye fuckings Reylo's been giving each other in the 3 movies and also those same people need to go educate themselves of Star Wars Wiki. I have spoken.

About the video:
I've been saving this most gorgeous song ever for something special. Since A Court of Thorns and Roses series ain't happening for a while, Reylo deserves this song to come to life with an edit.
