Whitby Sneaton Castle January 2025

Unofficial, unsolicited 'review' of Sneaton Castle, Whitby UK. Wedding venue, fine dining, hotel, conferences, tourist attraction.We were very kindly given a voucher for Sneaton Castle as a Christmas present 2024. We wanted to find an opportunity to visit as soon as we could, and decided to go at an 'off peak time' - mid week lunch in JANUARY - what better way to catch a place off guard. :). The staff were all pleasant friendly and approachable - all the footage you see here was covert - we didn't tell them we were filming, This is a snapshot in time.
For me, this was a visit back in time, being an 'old girl' of St Hilda's School Carr Hall, and performed as the narrator of a nativity Play in the Chapel you see at the end. I hope you enjoy the film. Please subscribe to the Lovely Place channel.
