Meramec Caverns is a classic Route 66 tourist attraction located in Stanton, Missouri. We hadn't been there since we were kids, so our childhood memories of it drew us to revisit it! Meramec Caverns, referred to as Jesse James Hideout and America's Cave, offers a 1 hour and 20 minute walking tour of the huge limestone cave system. There are many other thincgs to do on the property besides the cave tour, making this a great family-friendly vacation destination!
