Napalm Death are one of the most important and influential extreme metal bands of all time. They were a name that spearheaded the grindcore movement of the mid-to-late 80s, before jumping ship into the growing world of death metal in the early 90s. Since then, the band have been on a journey of developing and growing their own sound. There have been high points, low points, and many interesting albums in between.
Nowadays, nobody else out there sounds like Napalm Death. They are a force to be reckoned with and are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, even with their 40th anniversary fast approaching.
