When Sophie Leblond Robert had a severe stroke at age 35, The Ottawa Hospital’s stroke team rushed to save her life. Damage from the stroke caused locked-in syndrome and left her care team wondering if she would ever get her life back. But with a specialized team and sheer determination, she defied the odds.
