I had taken the overnight bus from Malacca to get here, and after arriving in the wee hours of the morning, I slept on a bench at the bus station until morning, all the while hoping to catch the very first train to my hostel where I could at least curl up on a sofa for a few hours; unfortunately, I couldn't find the hostel's location, so I ended up sharing a bed with a washerwoman and a vagrant instead; in the evening, I even participated in a prank with some strangers, marking the beginning of my first day in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.
