On a quiet Sunday night in December 2025, Eddie and Shannon found themselves wandering on a beautiful beach while watching the sun set on the gulf. The weekend was winding down, but the craving for a genuine Philly experience was just hitting its peak.
"Pizza steak," Eddie declared as they approached the car for the ride home. He had been thinking about the combination of thinly sliced steaks, Shannon's home-made marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella all day. He wanted that specific hybrid of an Italian classic and a steak sandwich—the kind where the sauce and cheese are layered deep within the meat.
